Title:
Whatever You Do, Don't Run: True Tales of a Botswana Safari GuideAuthor: Peter Allison
Publisher: Lyons Press
Year: 2007
Country: Botswana
246 pages
An
enjoyable account of being a safari guide in Botswana. This is a series
of anecdotes, and not particularly a psychological narrative--that is,
there is no particular moral or developmental outcome. I enjoyed it for
the descriptions of animal and tourist behavior. I'll still read
something by
Bessie Head to get a better sense of the people of Botswana.
